Word Unscrambler & Anagram Finder
Enter letters and find general-English words that can be built from them. No account required.
How to use the word unscrambler
Enter the letters you have and run the solver. The tool compares those letters with its local word list and returns words that can be formed without using any letter more times than it appears in your input. It is useful for word-game practice, vocabulary exploration, and brainstorming.
What is an anagram?
An anagram rearranges the letters of a word or phrase to form another word or phrase. A general word unscrambler is slightly broader: it can also identify shorter words that use only part of the available letter set. For example, a seven-letter input may produce valid three-, four-, five-, six-, and seven-letter results.
Tips for finding useful words
Start with the complete set of letters rather than trying combinations manually. Look at longer results first when a game rewards length, then inspect shorter words for difficult letter combinations. Common prefixes and suffixes can also reveal possibilities that are easy to overlook.
Dictionary and game limitations
Different games and dictionaries use different approved word lists. A result shown here may not be accepted by every specific game, tournament, classroom, or publisher. Treat the results as a general reference and check the official word list when a particular rule set matters.
